Wild Sourdough Sandwich Batard

The seeded sourdough contains sesame, poppy, chia and roasted sunflower seeds mixed into the dough and sprinkled on top.
This pre-sliced, 3lb batard is great for sandwiches and toasts. It's a larger loaf than our boule and yields 14-16 slices.
This loaf is leavened with 100% wild cultured sourdough starter. It begins with a 12 hour preferment, which is then used to build the main dough. Once incorporated, the final dough is fermented for 4-5 hours, followed by 16 plus hrs of cold fermentation before shaping, proofing and baking.
This bread has amazing complexity with very subtle "sourness" and a rustic crust. It's a Mama Mel's staple.
Ingredients: Filtered water, California-sourced brown rice flour, tapioca flour, millet flour, sorghum flour, potato starch/flour, golden flax seed, cold press extra virgin olive oil, wild sourdough starter, non-gmo xanthan gum, guar gum, sea salt, cane sugar. Vegan.
