The sourdough sandwich loaf is an all-purpose, deliciously simple bread.
The dough is made with a double preferment, using both poolish and leaven preferments. It is mixed and baked on the same day, resulting in a lighter, less acidic sourdough loaf.
The flavor is subtle and light for those who prefer a less acidic sourdough, while it's crust is softer than our sourdough batard and similar to traditional sandwich bread. It's great for toasts and sandwiches and whatever else you can dream up!
Ingredients: Filtered water, tapioca flour, brown rice flour, millet flour, sorghum flour, potato starch & flour, organic golden flax seed, yeast and wild sourdough starter, organic virgin olive oil, non-gmo xanthan gum, guar gum, sea salt, organic cane sugar.
